SONG TRAILS KINGAROY
DEBORAH CONWAY/ PETER FARNAN/ JAMES REYNE/ WILLY ZYGIER
Song Trails is back in town!
After the highly successful 2009 Song Trails workshop in Nanango, Queensland Music Festival is staging a follow-up workshop at the Kingaroy Town Hall on Thursday July 15 from 5.30pm – 9.30pm.
Kingaroy will be host to an exceptional line up. Song-trailers James Reyne (Australian Crawl) and Peter Farnan (Boom Crash Opera) will be joined by celebrated musician and QMF Artistic Director, Deborah Conway (Do Re Mi) and composer, musician and songwriter, Willy Zygier.
This FREE four hour evening workshop is open to everyone from high school prodigies to old time storytellers. In a relaxed and informal setting, you are invited to tap into the wealth and experience of some of Australia’s greatest singer songwriters.
Learn how to overcome those creative blocks while sharing your own work and gaining insight into the artistry and techniques required to finally complete that self-penned masterpiece.
Presented by Queensland Music Festival in association with South Burnett Regional Council, Tarong Energy, the Australia Council for the Arts and ABC Southern Queensland.
This project is supported by the Australia Council, the Australian Government’s arts funding and advisory body, through its Community Partnerships Section.
