How to Book
How to book in three simple steps:
1. Select your experiences
Identify your school’s touring region and select your creative learning experiences.
2. Complete the Booking Form
Complete our easy online booking form and we will receive it via the magic of the internet, or you can submit it via fax or post. You will receive an email confirming your booking request.
You will receive confirmation of your performance dates and times via email and a letter outlining the timeline of invoicing and future communication with us.
Term 1 and Term 2 performance dates are released in late November and Term 3 and Term 4 dates are released in April.
You will have 5 working days from receipt of your confirmation email to let us know if there is any reason why these dates or times will not work. After this point cancellation fees will apply, see our Terms and Conditions for details.
Costs & Payments
All of the performances are the same price:
- $8 + GST per student with a minimum $800 + GST per performance
If your school has fewer than 100 students and is unable to afford the minimum fee, consider combining with another school. Our Youth Touring Team will be happy to help suggest options for you.
Workshop and residency prices vary and will be noted next to that experience’s description.
Approximately four weeks prior to your scheduled performance, you will receive a tax invoice for a deposit equal to 50% of your booking. This is due a minimum of two weeks before your visit.
After your performance, and once you have confirmed final numbers, you will receive a second invoice for the balance owed. All invoices should be paid within 7 days of receipt.
How to choose your experiences
We’ve made selecting creative learning experiences for your students quick and easy. As many of the productions are relevant across multiple year levels, you will find offerings for both primary and secondary students.
On each production page, you will find vital information to help you choose which experiences to book:
- Which term the production is touring to your area
If you aren’t sure which area you are in, cross check this against the map in the Regions tab. If in doubt, call our team to see if we can include your school in a specific term, particularly if your school is in Area E.
- Which year levels will gain the most from this experience
This is more guideline than restriction. You might be studying Children’s Theatre in Year 10, so a Primary targeted show might be perfect, for example.
- Which part of the Curriculum it links to
All of the productions are inspiring, creative experiences that connect to the curriculum, ensuring their relevance in your students’ learning. We have highlighted themes and cross curricular areas as well to help you choose. Each show comes with a specially developed Teachers Resource Kit that will support the visit and give you ideas for extension activities.
- Whether there is a workshop that can complement and enhance the performance
There will be a link to any related workshop on the production’s page. If you don’t see anything but are interested in having a workshop designed for you to complement this show, then call us to discuss.
