State Coordination Office
The Regional Arts Services Network (RASN) is an initiative of the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland. RASN is a new approach to the delivery of state-wide arts services, supported through Arts Queensland, and led by the sector.
Eight service providers form the state-wide network, as detailed on the map here:
o Red Ridge (Western Queensland)
o Queensland Music Festival (North Queensland)
o Central Queensland University (Central Queensland)
o Empire Theatre Projects (South-West Queensland)
o Creative Arts Alliance (South-East Queensland North)
o Access Community Services (Ipswich and Logan)
o Arts Queensland (Far North Queensland)
o Provider TBC (Cape York and the Torres Strait)
Queensland Music Festival is proud to serve as the State Coordination Office (SCO) Provider.
The SCO supports RASN through:
o acting as the secretariat to support the RASN model
o leveraging its regional delivery expertise, particularly with regard to capacity-building, attracting new arts investment and working in partnership with regional stakeholders
o supporting the network with planning and communications
o taking the lead in developing statewide strategy and contributing to policy discussions
o acting as a connector to arts funding opportunities
