Our languages, our songs

Dabba Yarrabil unites six Indigenous women from regional Queensland, sharing songs in language and highlighting the importance of contemporary song in encouraging family language use.

Presented by the Queensland Indigenous Languages Advisory Committee (QILAC), these women will share their songs in five different Indigenous languages, raising awareness of the first languages of Queensland. Witness this moving performance of Queensland’s traditional languages, music and song.
