Queensland Music Festival (QMF) is once again being celebrated globally, following its 2024 win and now a 2025 finalist nomination at the prestigious Music Cities Awards, the world’s leading platform recognising music-led innovation and impact.

Queensland Music Trails is thrilled to announce the return of the much-loved Scenic Rim Trail, coming to life from Friday, 31 October – Sunday, 9 November 2025, with an exciting new twist. After a sold-out festival last year, the trail will culminate in a reimagined edition of The Long Sunset, headlined by Boy and Bear and Vera Blue, which will be hosted in a brand-new location, the captivating country town of Boonah. The line-up also features Gretta Ray, The Buoys, Jem Cassar-Daley and Playlunch.

We're thrilled to announce an exciting collaboration between QMF and the world's largest mountain bike festival, Crankworx!

From May 22nd to May 26th, 2024, Crankworx Cairns will be the epicentre of heart-pounding adventure as it brings together the best mountain bike athletes for five days of exhilarating action. But that's not all - for the first time ever, QMF is joining forces with Crankworx to introduce the Party in Paradise stage, adding a vibrant music dimension to this adrenaline-fuelled event.
